About the President & CEO
Dr. Jacob U. Gordon, Ph.D., LL.D., is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of AHC. Dr. Gordon served as Professor, Research Fellow, and Director of the Multicultural Leadership Center at the University of Kansas for over 35 years before retiring as Professor Emeritus in 2004. Since his retirement, Dr. Gordon has engaged in numerous research and training projects, including program monitoring and evaluation, workforce development, organizational capacity building, nonprofit board development, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment, organizational sustainability, and African Development and the Diaspora. He is the author and/or co-author of 18 books, numerous book chapters, and articles in academic journals. Dr. Gordon is the recipient of many national and international awards and honors.
